I think Clydesdales, Appaloosa, Arabian, QH, Belgian, and Shetland are the easiest to recognize, if it were in a large group of horses.

Im sure theres more, but thats all I cant brainstorm.

  1. Quarter Horse

  2. Shires

    Shetlands

    Arabs

    (:

  3. Mini Horse

  4. arabian

  5. arab

  6. any type of draft horse!

  7. I have to agree with you about the Clydesdales, Arabians, Frisians, and Fjords.  Appys are generally easy to recognize however, not all of them have spots.  Also, there are other spotted breeds (ex. POA and Knabstrupper).  Quarter horses, Belgians, and Shetlands are fairly easy to recognize.  But they also have many similarities to other breeds.

I'll add Falabella, Miniature horses, Lippizans, and Przewalski horses to your list.

  8. Quarter Horses (because I know them well)

    Paint (pretty obvious)

    Thoroughbred (very clear conformation)

    Appaloosa (clear coloring)

    Clydsedales (fetlocks and big bones)

    Shetland (the whole look)

And others that I can't think of... :)

  9. Shire

    QH

    TB

    Appy(as long as they're coloured)

    Paint(as long as they're coloured)

    Clydesdale

    Belgian

    Percheron

    Shetland

    Mini

    Arabian

    Araapaloosa

    POA

Palomino(I don't consider them a breed but some people do)

    Anglo Arab

    Freisan

    Fjord

    Curlys

    Pintoloosa

    Walkaloosa

    Colorado Ranger(Like an appy)

    Kanbstrup(like an appy)

    Cleveland Bay

    Lipizzaner

    Kathiawari(they have funny ears)

    Fox Trotter

    Morgan

    Morab

    Mustang

Standardberd(I have one so I can reconzie them)

    Tennessee Walker

Is this enough??& Yes I can reconzie these!!!

I love learning about breeds so yeah :D

  10. uhmm.

the TB. a clysdale/draft. mini. arabian. fijords. haflingers. fresians. paints. shetlands.

  11. Paints...mini...Icelandic...

  12. I think Halflingers are very easy because of coloring and  build.

Lipizzaners are also easy for me to recognize.

Most draft breeds, Clydesdales,Percherons,Belgians, and Shires are easy because of coloring and body types.

Of course Paints are because of coloring.

Gaited horses such as Saddlebreds, and Tennessee Walking horses are easy as well because of a combonation of head carraige, tail carraige and knee action.

    Miniatures ( size of course)

Preswalki wild horses ( live in Asia) because they appear to look prehistoric.

Thoroughbreds, i can tell by how long their legs are and their fast gaits and their temperaments.

    Warmbloods, because of their build.

Appaloosas because of their coloring and the stripes on their hooves.

Irish Draft, body type and coloring.

Ponies of America, because of their coloring and height.

Standerbreds because of their way of moving.

That's all I can think of besides the ones you listed.

  13. Arabian, Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse, Paint, Appy, Shetland Pony, Friesan, Percheron and Beligian. At least that's the case for me.

  14. Fresians,Fjords,Arabians,Appaloosas,Pint... Finos,Morgan,Clydesdales,Belgians,Draft,... Shetlands

  15. 1. Paint

    2. Arabian

    3. Thoroughbred

  16. Pretty much all the breeds you listed as well as andalusian, lusitano, lipizzan, and holsteiners.

  17. arabian. hahah. i can spot them like that. :D

  18. I'd say...

    Arabians- Fine bones and movement

    Clydesdales- Size, overall look

    Minis- Size, overall look

    Appaloosas- Colour

    Paints- Colour

Friesiens (sp?)- Colour, bone structure, overall look

    Thoroughbred- Conformation

I can pick out these breeds of horses amongst others so easily!

  19. I could spot a Quarter Horse and an Arabian in a group of 100 Horses!

And Most people could identify a Clydesdale.

  20. The Fjord horse or Norwegian Fjord Horse is the easiest to recognize.

  21. All the horses in the Baroque group (ie Friesians, Andalusians, Lusitanos, etc.) because my family has been breeding them for quite a while now and lots of Lusitanos have the roman noses, as do drafts, Arabs (I've had quite a few in my riding experience, and I have a beautiful one right now [: ) because of their overall structure, especially the dished face. Thoroughbreds, I'd have to agree with everyone above, just because of their conformation, Quarter horses just because I've seen so many and their bone structure and look, and quite a few drafts. . . . Belgians are often easily recognized also.

  22. Palamino   Mr Ed,  Id know him anywhere :D

Not a breed  just came to mind.

Standardbred.  Their butts go down like a cliff.

  23. Arabian,Quarter Horses,Frisians,

  24. The number one easiest breed to recognize is Clydesdale.

  25. Arabian.. the dished face gives it away in a second.

  26. i think qh, clydesdales, belgian, arab, my appy is solid colored and he looks like a qh, morgan

  27. I would strike shetlands off that list because there are many ponies that look similiar.  The old fashioned pinto was easy to ID but by that I mean the breed not the 'registry' horses.  The registry allows any paint to register and it does not have to have true indian pinto origins.

  28. Pony of the Americas, Fresians, miniatures, Haflinger, Rocky Mountain, Saddlebred, paints also

All i can think of that you havent named,
