  1. Thats a draught, not a quarter horse.

I can't tell you exactly what type of draught, but she does look like an irish draught i used to own.

They are identifiable by their large head, round backside and good bone structure

  2. She is definitely an Irish Draught. Ive seen many of them before, i know from experience. She could be a mix, since she isnt registered. Atleast thats with i figure because if she was then you would know what breed she is. She is so beautiful. i can kinda see where people think shes a QH, but she has too thick of a neck. AND GOD IS SHE FAT! haha, i love it though, i have a personal obsesion with fat horses. (: But make sure you exercise her, her back is too swayed, it has to be uncomfortable. Good Luck. (:

  3. First pic looks like a Boulonnais but it could be Percheron.

  4. i would say part quarter horse and part draft horse.  s/he's to big to be a pure quarter horse

  5. She isn't any QH. I would have to say a Perchon.

  6. umm a very beautiful quater horse!!!!!

  7. Her first shot makes her look like a draft mix.  She is very bulky.  Put her second shot makes her look very Quarterhorse like.  So my guess would be Draft/QH cross.  She is absolutly beautiful

  8. Quarter horse, or at least part. Great horse though! There might be some Orlov Trotter in there somewhere, but from the get-up it looks like a full-blood.

    Beautiful animal!

  9. that is in no way a quarter horse lol. she looks like she could have some  in her but It looks like she has quite a bit of trakeehner in her crossed with qh and a draft breed like percheron maby?

  10. some sort of draft. i was thinking at first percheron. almost everybody says qh, but obviously not.

  11. Looks like a percheron/quarter horse cross.

  12. I have a Holstiener and I def. think that's a Holstiener. Either way she's a warmblood...I think pure. NOT QUARTER HORSE FO SHO...sorry if that's disappointing. Good luck :).

  13. It's looks a lot like my friend's old Trakehner/quarter horse. But I don't know.

  14. This might be far fetched but she is wider than taller--kinda heavy  large ponyish looking...

    maybe a Welsh Mountain Cross?

What country do you live in?

And, one other observation I've made is in her left rear foot...she doesn't look stretched and posed with her foot "pointed" (my other word got*****and it wasn't a "bad" word-new system huh!!)( the show picture)in the picture looks clubbed???  Not saying that it is..just looks weird.  Even in the pasture picture it looks like she is just resting it.

    Pretty though!!

One thing is for sure, she cleans up nicely!!

    *********EDIT***********

I knew I should have trusted my judgement..I didn't think the two horses were the same...thats one reason why I said that she cleans up nicely...because here we have to be "politically correct" to not insult and call a spade a spade.

  15. Yea, Percheron

  16. i'm pretty sure it is a quarter horse

  17. she looks an awful lot like a lipizzaner to me.

    EDIT.

she is not a quarter horse, she is just not built like one at all.

  18. It looks like a Irish Draft, hey was that picture taken in the RDS?

EDIT: Just saw the deception question! Ah well people have done stranger things here......

  19. Andalusian

I think i spelt that wrong, but...

  20. That is a Lipizzaner and if it is a cross breed it is as close Lipizzan dominant genes as you can get without pure breeding.

*Edit Note: I was wrong, this is not a Lipizzaner and the one person here, Kierstan L, the questioner's lone Contact/Fan, who said it is an Irish Draught is right. Moreover, the questioner here, saying of the breed that the "previous owners don't know either," is playing some sick game of deception. Fact is, the links are pictures of two different horses, both Irish Draughts. Pictured in the first link is a registered Irish Draught mare named "Roma Blue Wind" and pictured in the second link is a registered Irish Draught mare named "Misty River Lass." Here is a link to where both pictures came from:

There is no dishonor in answering a question and being wrong if the answer is an honest opinion. But dishonor is a mild assessment of a questioner playing a sick game of deception. Someone having a mental illness is a better assessment of that person!

  21. Percheron

  22. The big butt, strong neck and head make me think at least part quarter horse.

  23. I think she looks like a lipizzaner or a cob or percheron. She is not quarter horse! Too heavily built, especially her thick neck.

  24. Quarter horse!...Shes/hes very pretty!
