What breed is my new kitten? (pic)?

This is Amber...she's my new kitten, but I don't know what breed she is. I can't tell if she's a Russian blue or a British blue. Can anyone tell me?

Her description in case her link doesn't work she's all gray with amber colored eyes. I can't tell if she's going to be long hair or short hair.

Amber is a Domestic Short Hair (DSH) and she will more than likely be short haired! :)

I suspect short hair, otherwise there would be more tufts of fur around her ears.  She is not a purebred, and in a way that is good, since it means she is a survivor or survivors, and will  probably live a long and healthy life.  She has some tabby markings.

She is beautiful, and your vet will simply mark her as a DSH, meaning domestic short hair.  Some color may or may not be noted.

neither russians nor blue british shorthairs have stripes. it is a solid grey color, with green eyes for russians, coppers eyes for british. and this blue color is a pretty common color among many different breeds, so anything is possible when it comes to what your kitty's original ancestors were. you kitty definitely doesn't have the round head & cobby body of a british shorthair.

My kitten looks EXACLTLY like that only has jade colored eyes. She is domestic short haired, because Russian Blue is more of a silver color, not gray, and the British Blue have pretty big heads.
