What breed of dog are the most loyal?

Depending on how loyal you are is the way your dog will be. It takes lots of training, time & patience to make your dog loyal. There not going to get like that on their own.

Its not about breed, its about training and care, the more you put into your dog (training, rules, exercise)the more they will love and listen to you

Like I said before,  Any dog can be loyal.  It does not matter if purebred or a mix.

The dog who's owner loves, cares for, and trains it.

While dogs have different levels of loyalty (ie: huskies are the least loyal breed I can think of, german shepherds are fairly loyal, etc), the training and time spent with the dog greatly effects the level of loyalty they'll reward you with.

Some breeds are more independent then others, but it is sometimes not a question of breed, but the individual dog.  It is all about building a relationship with your dog.  See below.

Well, like a lot of people said, it depends on the dog, but certain working dogs and sheepdogs are really loyal. I recommend getting a dog breed book.
