What breed of dog is this and where can I get one?

I really want to know what kind of dog this is because it's the sweetest dog ever and just so cuddly! Please help!

Looks like a bonafide heinz 57 mutt to me. She looks a lot like a long-haired chihuahua but she's far too large. Maybe a chuahua mix. Could also be a shepherd mix. Or a sheltie mix. Or any number of breeds thrown in there. You can get one at your local shelter, guaranteed.

IMO, definitely part Papillon. It has the butterfly ears of a papillon and I can see Papillon in its face. We have Papillons. This is a familiar looking face for us. Just the coloring is different. Papillons are spotted.

6. Don't just buy because someone says this is the

dog for you, people particular on yahoo answer will give you there particular favourite breed& what suits them, not what actually suit you.

7. Read all you can-THERE are alot of false information on the web and in books about different dog breed.

8 DON'T TRUST THOSE DOG BREED SELECTORS-MOST OF THE RESULTS ARE INCORRECT. Ex i search large breed dogs, and the Pomeranian came up, which of cause is a toy dog breed!!

9. NEVER BUY FROM A PETSTORE, BACKYARD BREEDER, PUPPY MILL OR NEWSPAPER, DON'T BUY FROM NEXT DAY PETS OR DOG BREED INFO, RESCUE AN ADULT DOG OR SHELTER PUPPY!

Remember dogs are 15-20yr commitment and yes it may look cuddly but IF IT ISN'T TRAINNED OR SOCIALIZED IT WON'T BE CUDDLY AND WILL BE AGGRESSIVE. BREED HAS NO INDICATION OF SWEETNESS! ITS TRAINING AND SOCIALIZATION THAT MAKES THE PET SWEET!

It looks like a pom mixed with something bigger, maybie pom/ shetland sheepdog? Go to your local SPCA, they should have a *similar* dog. good luck =]

[(I'm garnet)] Tulip, I know the dog, that's me in the picture. My sister's roomy has one of those and they are very sweet dogs, but she doesn't know the breed. I'm not saying I'm necessarily ready to get one, I just want to know what kind it is so I can consider the choice in the future.

At your local shelters - I've seen dogs who look just like that at the Humane Society, Animal Services, the SPCA -- go adopt one and you'll have a cute friend for life too.
