  1. Collie

  2. labrador

  3. Wait.. a dog to help a blind dog or a dog to help a blind person? The first option: Any breed can do it, just find one that the blind dog likes and put a bell on the collar - chances are the dog will follow that sound (saw it on TV.) The most common dogs used as service dogs (option two) are Labs, Poodles, Shepherds, and Golden Retrievers (as stated above.) Those need to be acquired from the proper training program.

  4. Most seeing eye dogs are Labrador Retrievers, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Boxers, American Pit Bull Terriers, and Collies.

I've seen a few Standard Poodles, Great Danes, Border Collies, and even a few mixed breeds as well.
