What breed of rabbit is best??

Question

I'm planning on getting a rabbit in the near future but I can't decide on what breed. I don't care to get a small one like a mini or Holland lop. I also don't want a huge one like a flemish giant. Also, what rabbit breeds are the most friendly. I have 3 dogs, 1 Retriever and 2 Shepard's, who I know will be perfectly fine with a rabbit, but will the rabbit be fine with them? Also is it best to get more than one rabbit? And if so, what gender?

Out of the three rabbits I have (Harlequin, Polish, Mini Lop) The mini lop is the friendliest, the Harlequin rabbit is pretty shy and really only likes me, and my polish rabbit is very very aggressive sometimes, if he doesn't have his way. As long as they are happy....I'm happy :D

I have also noticed that the bigger the rabbit, the less skittish and more laid back they are. I'd suggest a Holland or Mini lop because they are known for there great dispositions, and they are adorable too!

you should get it sprayed.. which will calm it down a lot.. and i have a boy, taht's sprayed and is really cute and nice...

I'm not sure what breed he is.. he's a cross...

I have raised many breeds and have worked with all at some point as a registrar. I found the Dutch to be wonderful. They have great personalities and are very friendly. Males tend to be less aggressive and more docile.

lionhead rabbits are really docile and friendly and cute! - females are usually less aggressive than the males

Dwarf Lop is a great breed i have had 2 and 1 i still have. They like to be around people which i have noticed also another great breed is a netherland dwarf also they could be sensitive around dogs. As for gender male is best as they are used to defending their familes in  the wild but after a while he will get used to them.
