What brings you to "Books and Authors" and not the other categories???

Why are you in "Books and Authors" section?

Personally, i'm here to answer Twilight questions. I know heaps!

I love books and want to help others with their questions.

I must say, however, that I am discouraged to see so many questions in this category that are nothing more than attempts at cheating.  I see the same problem in the History category.

I prefer this section as I am an avid reader - just can't get enough books to read.

I've been reading and collecting the books I've read. I have already 2 bookcases full and the 3rd is building. Fiction and non-fiction, resource books. My husband has a large collection of college books. I love to see what others are reading and actually have went out to the local library to hunt them down. On the way to do that, I see my favorites and I go picking out stacks of them, They're finished w/in 3 weeks or even less than that. Books are very addictive, once you get into your favorites, you love them forever!

i never fail to find a question about twilight.

and it's trying to find one day where there isn't. that day will be pretty historical.

i also like it because its not full of stupid people who ask questions like where can i get the best crack.

i love reading, so i'm here to answer questions that other people want the answers too :]

i like picking at my brain for those answers.

Because I read a lot and go through stages of finding a new author, reading everything they have written and then have trouble finding another writer I feel has a real voice I enjoy reading and relate to as well as the talent to take you along the journey of a good story.

So in short boredom and book whoredom!

Literature is one of my favourite subjects, it always was the favourite one when I was in school. My mom and my gran are both crazy readers, and so am I. I adore to read and to share my ideas. Literature is about interpretations and not about facts, so you are never wrong. The company here is enjoyable too =]
