Futures rather than Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), but thank you for answering.

  1. most do.  any account which will let you trade options will let you trade etf's, which mean that you can buy a call on SPY or whatever index etf you like for a nominal fee.

    Edit:

I know you keep saying "index futures" but there's no such thing - primarily because an index in and of itself is not an investable asset.  But, through buying OPTIONS on etf's, you can get basically the same effect as you would have gotten by buying a future.

  2. Allow me to correctly answer this one. Interactive Brokers, Lind Walldock, and MF Global are the main brokers that offer competitive commissions on futures trading (stock index futures). You will be trading the ES (s&p E-miNY) or the NQ (nasdaq E-miNY).

  3. Every major brokerage firm in the United States offeres index investing and/or investing.
