What bulbs do I plant in July?

I just moved into a house on the coast in California and am eager to plant bulbs. What bulbs can I plant in July?

I think that it is great that you are eager to plant but it is not the right time to plant bulbs in fact you are kind of in the middle of the seasons. You could probably plant a few annuals or perennials right now or even a few pots of flowers too. The fall bulbs are just starting to come out in the catalogs and websites but they probably wont ship until late August to middle of September and then they wont bloom until spring. A few great fall blooming plants are Asters and Mums. Good luck!

Plant bulbs in the spring and in the fall. I don't think you can buy bulbs until the fall, but try Burpee Catalog.

Most bulbs are planted in the fall. Some are planted in the spring.

You may have a hard time finding them this time of year, unless they are growing in a pot somewhere.
