I found a bullet in my house. It's about 2.5 cms long, the tip looks like it's made out of copper and its got a shallow hole in it. The bottom has the letter H on it, any ideas ?

  1. its a .32 Hollow Point Bullet.

  2. I think the bigger question is why is there a stray bullet in your house?  Do you own guns?  Do you have teenagers that possibly brought it in?

  3. More likely is a .22 Long Rifle cartridge.  The length sounds about right, and I used to shoot some old 22 shells with an "H" for a headstamp that had copper plated hollowpoint bullets.

  4. Why does it matter? throw it away and get on with your life

  5. Need more information.

What is written on the bottom of the cartridge?

Measurements of overall length and bullet diameter should be made with a precision instrument (such as a caliper).  Give the measurements in both metric (to the hundredth of a millimeter) and in inches (to the thousandth of an inch).

  6. Im pretty sure that the bullet is a .32 caliber. I measured all the bullets possible of that length and the .32 was 2.5cms long
