What button when i startup my computer is it to do destructive scan

i would like to restore my computer to default

go into your startup menu,

programs>accessories>system tools>system restore and you will be given the choice whether you want to run a non- detructive or destructive restore - make sure you back up your files such as your internet connection and any drivers you may have added since you bought it cus its that sort of thing i always forget about lol

if its just a junk clean up you could save yourself a lot of bother and get ccleaner - its free and its a real godsend, it gets rid of things you thought you already had

Do a clean install of the OS. It will then be as you bought it.

Update the question with your computer's make model, if it came with recovery discs, etc. If you still have it, that info would be in your manual.
