If you can reccomend a brand, please do. I have a Sony Playstation 3 and DirecTV (soon with HD).

I don't mind to spend, but how much is enough? I don't need the absolute best for the sake of having the absolute best, but definately something that will make a clear, solid, and noticeable difference.

  1. I assume you're asking for a recommendation for an HDMI cable?  If so, your best bet are cables from monoprice.com.  You will not be compromising quality whatsoever.  Personally, the HDMI cables I use (and love) are the Series-1 Belden Bonded-Pair HDMI from bluejeanscable.com.  Those are the cables I would recommend for any distance run but particularly if you need to go more than 15'.

I will say, without reservation, that purchasing any Monster branded cable is a complete waste of your money.

  2. I use WireWorld for long runs.

For short runs, I use inexpensive cables from www.monoprice.com - works great on my 65" 1080p plasma for HD-DVD/Blu-Ray, HD cable, etc.
