  1. Be careful, although the pet shop advised us to buy two russian dwarf hamsters, as they like company, we had to seperate them after after a few days as one became dominant, and the other was miserable, and stopped eating and became timid (They had been litter mates)

This meant buying an extra cage and everything, but atleast they're now both happier and healthier.

They have to have a plastic cage, as ones with the metal bars and platforms have gaps that are too big for the tiny little hamsters :)

  2. The bigger the better

  3. oyu should buy a ten gallon fish tank they are only ten dollars and they are great. the hamster cant escape and oyu can get a lid for it if you want. just buy a free standing wheel a water bottle and the oasis waterbottle cover. the cover help you hang the bottle form the cage. You have to buy a free standing wheel instead of one of the ones that clip on. a ten gallon is perfect because my tedybear hammy loves it so 2 mini ones are gonna think it is great you should buy an igloo to a ittybity one or a mini one.

  4. i had a russian dwarf hamster the cage that works the best was the plastic cage it comes with a plastic wheel and everything.

my hamster tried to escape alot so the plastic cage was good because they couldnt climb um the sides.

    i hope i helped!

    -peace-

  5. i have 2 russian dwarf hamsters they are play fulll so they need a ruuning wheel

  6. The Super Pet Critter trail 3 will work. If you don't like it a 10-20 gallan tank will work.

  7. I'm getting two roborovski hamsters and i got a 'rotastak space command center' and just modified it (took away the verticle tubing)

Anything with tubes and a wheel - but make sure you get one without verticle tubes - or just change them.

Dont make it too complex though as you will need clean it out once in a while!! =]

p.s. why did u  add me? (i dont mind)

  8. Most hamster cages are ok for them. You if you get a wire cage you want to make sure the spaces between the wires are not too big that they can escape. The plastic ones are good as well, they do like to chew a lot so make sure to  have chew toys so they don't chew on the cage. CritterTrail or All Living Things make good cages for hamsters.
