The Egg McMuffin was first by 11 years. McDonald's started serving them in 1972. The McNuggets came out in 1983, which is when people like me who don't like ketchup finally started to feel welcome at McDonald's. It gets really old ordering a burger WITHOUT KETCHUP and have them hand you half a jar of ketchup on a piece of bread, time after time after time after time. Finally with McNuggets, we could order something that didn't automatically come drowned in the red stuff.
