I am looking for a 10-12 megapixel camera.

I would like the camera to have a slim look to it.

Not to big, slim enough to fit into a jean pocket.

Also, I want it to be good at taking pictures in any lighting, good for recording with voice. And also at a budget under $200. Well please and thank you. :)(:

  1. 10 to 12 megapixels is overkill. All those megapixels will give the ability to print GIGANTIC pictures, which most of us don't do cause ink is expensive. So is photopaper. AND, all those megapixels crammed onto a small sensor can actually degrade your picture quality. If you don't believe me, then do the research for yourself. Don't listen to manufacturer hype.

look at the Canon Powershot line up. The A720is is a great camera. Look at one on Amazon.com.

  2. my suggestion

    go to yahoo shopping

    digital cameras

    digital camera GUIDE

be sure to check titles on the left side

the guide should answer your questions

  3. There are a lot of cheaper cameras with 10-12 megapixels that do not take very good pictures because different brands rate their products differently, but I would go for a Sony Cybershot or a Canon.  I had a bad experience with Kodak and and Samsung.  Make sure you get one that has a rechargeable battery because the ones that take AA's you literally have to change the batteries every time you use it!  I have a Sony Cybershot right now that takes great pictures and it's only a 5.1 megapixel camera... so I am sure 8 will take a great picture, no need for 10-12 unless you are going to be blowing up huge pictures.  If you want to spend the money, Canon makes the best.

  4. I found your camera  it is 10mp, with 12 optical zoom, it is Kodak 1285z on sale at walmart.com for $179.95.  Enjoy your camera.

    good Luck
