  1. The cybershot is a very reliable, fast camera.  If you're thinking about the megapixels, don't even worry about that, unless you're planning to enlarge a photo to the size of your wall.  Color, clarity, and the system of the cybershot is probably better though.  You sacrifice sharpness and colors for megapixels if you go with the Fuji, but the fujifilm camera is a much smaller, and compact camera for your purse/pocket.  Start-up time for the fuji will probably be faster, but not much of a difference.

On other words, NEVER buy cameras from walmart.  First, you're funding a mass company that pays its workers like cheap whores, and second, a company that doesn't specialize in cameras is never very responsible when it comes to your camera being stupid.

    Try B&H

    or Adorama

oh also, sorry if i add another option to your wishlist, but Casio Exilims are great point and shoot cameras.

    hope that helps.

  2. Megapixels don't really make a difference if the camera itself is not good. The fuji is kind of lower quality. The pictures are sort of grainy.

I would go with the pink sony you had as your second pick. Sony's tend to be more reliable and take better pictures. 7-8 megapixels is PLENTY.  Plus, Sony is really good about repairing your product and following through with their warranties when necessary.

  3. Get a Canon Elph 800 and start dancing in a beautiful place that you have never SEEN BEFORE... to wonderful music you have never heard... but was always there. That's what a good camera can do.

  4. Based on the specs I've seen, you might think that the Fuji camera is the better deal, having more MP.

Sony makes good cameras, and what I like about the WSC-120, is the lens. It's a good quality  Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens. Zeiss makes some of the best lenses in the world.

The downside of the sony are the memory cards. It takes Memory Stick Duo, which can be pricier than equivalent sized the equivalent sized SDHC cards the Fuji takes.

Both are state of the art cameras, with face detection. The Sony has Intelligent flash, which will vary the flash power based on the conditions.  This is a nice feature, as should prevent blown out flash photos.

The Sony also has a better Zoom, 4x as opposed to 3x.

I would go with the Sony camera.

  5. a friend of mine owns a camera like the second one. it seems to work fine but the first one is a catchy so maybe something new ^^ like the first one. hehe but goodluck

  6. The firsdt one would be better because not only is it cute but it has 10 megapixels. Basically the more Megapixels you have the better quality that your photo will turn out to be.

  7. I would recommend you to get a canon because they are usually the at the top of camera quality.  Also canon cameras take SD memory cards which are much cheaper than the sony memory sticks.  Get at least 7.2 megapixels.  I own a canon and sony, both are 8 megapixels, but the canon is much faster at focusing, its got an accelerometer (like the iphone) and it takes slightly better quality pics.  If you just wanna pick a camera from the ones you listed, i'd go for the sony because their products are pretty good.
