What cameras should I look into?

I'm looking for a good point and shoot camera that I can easily carry around with me but still takes very nice high quality photos. Also I need one that has a good clear "movie mode" and manual focus. Budget isn't really an issue so just name whatever recommendations you may have!

Google the Canon G9. By the sounds of it,  it might be right up your alley.

It's a very good camera.

Also look into the Nikon P80 and Canon S5IS, though they pack  some more bulk as per the 18x/12x zoom.
