  1. You two should go and find an empty car park near Epping Forest. Chances are it's one where couples go for "dogging". Failing that...while you're there visit Hangman's Hill also in Epping Forest. It's haunted...and one of the most sceptical people on the planet who went there said he wont ever go there again...though he wont say what he saw. ;)

  2. Have a look at these websites for free and almost free attractions and things to do in London.

  3. Take a walk round one of the big parks, like St James,Regents Park,Hampstead Heath,or visit the Barbican centre.

  4. Hampstead Heath, Parliament Hill, Regent's Park, Kenwood House, Hyde Park.

Most of the museums are free: V&A, British Museum, Science Museum, Natural History Museum to name a few.

Go see the Highgate Cemetery  and walk around Highgate Village or Hampstead Village.

  5. Most of the major museums and art galleries are free in London so all you need is your Oyster card and a packed lunch.

Tate Modern - South bank, huge area even if you're not that interested in "modern art".  Then walk along the south bank.  You can see any of the major cathedrals if you join in a service for free.

The dinosaurs are great for any age at the Natural History Museum.  The Science museum is great and again so big you can get lost in it.  The British museum has a Hadrian exhibition at the moment which should be quite good.  If you can leave your mobiles at home you could go and sit in the public gallery of trial and see justice in action.  Just window shopping in Selfridges, Harrods and Harvey Nicks is fun even if you don't buy anything.  Don't forget the Royal parks in this lovely weather too.  The rose walk in Kensington Palace gardens is beautiful and you could feed the geese and swans while lazing on the grass pretending you're in the countryside.  For more energy, visit Brick Lane in E1 and enjoy the hustle and bustle.

  6. I suppose it depends on what you find fun. On the 6th of August Im going to London and everyone has told me its quite expensive but Ive heard that most museums and art galleries are free. I really don't know what you could do for free apart from that except sightseeing.

People also tell me that you will never get bored in London, which means there is pretty much something to do for everyone.

To get around I'd recommend buying on Oyster card you can top up from many locations because its much better value than buying a single ticket each time.

  7. go see the sights of london

  8. A lot of the museums are free.

You didn't say where you were, if your were central or not, because if you don't have an Oyster card and need to travel that'll eat what money you have right up.

Assuming you're centralised, go to Hyde Park, head for the river, cross over to the south bank at Westminster and turn left. Walk along it until you get to Tate Modern where the toilets are free and so is the museum. You can look around and be puzzled at what people call modern art. There's always something good for a laugh there.

Covent Garden always has somebody doing magic or singing opera or a string quartet you can watch. Also jugglers and those people pretending to be statues that you can actively hate, that can be fun!

As far as I know the open air theatre is still on until the end of the month. You can take a picnic and sit in the cool and watch a play.

  9. the next concert at Kenwood House is on 2 August ... you have to pay to get in obviously, but loads of people take a picnic and sit around on Hampstead Heath just outside the fence and enjoy the music for free ... you can't see the orchestra but you can certainly enjoy the music and the atmosphere ... 210 bus from Finsbury Park or Golders Green

And if you cannot afford tolive there you should try and sell u and move more north...

That way when you visit London you will be able to afford to do stuff...

  14. Get it on in Richmond Park lol :)

Otherwise, look out for the free festivals.... you just missed out on RISE in Finsbury (was wicked), there is a Latino festival coming up next weekend. went last year, was fun

Google Latin Festival Burgess Park London  and it will give you the results. Nearest tube Elephant and it is on August 3rd

And of course, Notting Hill Carnival at the end of August.

  15. visit the natural history museaum its free and fun.

  16. Have plenty of s*x. It's fun and at the moment it's still free, Gordon Brown hasn't taxed it yet!
