What can I add to a corn muffin mix?

I like adding fruit to my muffins, but I don't know what would be good with a corn muffin mix.

    Real corn.  Bits of jalepeno peppers.  Bacon bits.  Shredded cheese.

Grains, seeds, nuts and fruit can be added to bread for flavor and texture.

Try adding apple or blueberry,oats,carrot,nuts n raisins... keep trying and you will come up with something u like!

add a few tablespoons of niblets corn- it is a corn muffin after all.

Raspberry's or blueberry's maybe apple slices. Just try different things that you like.

Bacon, real corn kernels, jalapeños, sharp cheddar cheese AND chile powder!

Blueberries and cornmeal are good together - along with some finely shredded lemon peel or 2 drops of lemon extract. Don't over-do the lemon extract - it tastes like soap.
