This is my honeymoon I will be roughly 12 -13 weeks pregnant. I will be there for a week, and I was wondering if they have anything that I should stay away from (foods etc). How bad is it to be in the sun? What if I wear really high SPF 50 or so and keep myself lathered? I really want to go swimming, is the ocean fine?

So is salt water okay to swim in?

Any foods to avoid?

Drinkable water?

Can I go boating? Snorkeling? Parasailing? Get a Couples massage?

  1. you should be fine

  2. DEFINITELY no parasailing or snorkeling, you can go on the boat but you will probably feel really sick. i would drink the water, stick to bottled water or the hotel in your resort that youre sure is fine (ask someone). try not to eat too much fruit and seafood, but you should be fine. the salt water is fine too. i would also check with your OB/GYN just in case you have any special conditions you should no about and not participate in any activities that might hurt you or your baby
