What can I do about a name mix-up?

I went to babysit for my next-door neighbor last night, and the TV was on. He said, "This is Annabelle" and I thought he was referring to a character, but he was introducing me! I soon noticed he thought that was my name, which is actually Abigail, but couldn't say anything because I had already been introduced as Annabelle. I will probably not have to babysit again, so should I correct him if I am called that again?

  1. Its important he knows your correct name. Babysitting is a responsible job and if anything goes wrong, he will need to know who you are

  2. Yes just say to him in private: Actually, it's Abigail!

  3. yes, if he does it again just say you mean abigail right?

  4. lol yes that happened to me once ~ say uh excuse me sir (or his name) Annabelle is not my name and when you introduced me i had no idea who you were referring too my name is Abigail! ~  later you will probably laugh about it if you aren't now
