Question:

What can I do about a triangular gap between my teeth?

Hello,

I recently had my teeth cleaned, and after they removed some tartar, I noticed a gap between two of my teeth. They didn't say anything about it, but I'm very concerned that it's not going away.

Picture (from phone; sorry for the quality): http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/5785/081808212800zu9.jpg

Is there anything that can be done about this? Would bonding solve the issue? Is a gum graft needed? Will the gums fill this space again on their own (I'm 19)?

Cost is also an issue. If you have the details, please post the price for any procedure you recommend, and whether or not insurance will cover it.

Thanks,

Peter

  1. i think there's nothing you can do about it

i have the same problem too,, and my ortho dentist say it has to do with the loss of attachment of your gum cause the oral hygiene is not good, so it produces periodontitis, which can cause the attachment lossand

and  she said no treatment can be done

its better that you ask your dentist,, and find out the solution,,

    hope that helps :)
