They are loud, and they steal things. They stole my skateboard, and sabotaged the plants that I were growing outside, they also play on my lawn a lot. They are so loud that I can hear them when I'm listening to my iPod three rooms away. I know for a fact that their parents beat them, just they will eat. Could I use this to my advantage? What else can I do about them?

  1. slap em around

  2. Move house.

  3. Eat the children.

  4. Sometimes the only thing wrong with the kids is the parents and  you can't change the habits of the whole family, I would suggest moving.

  5. Child protective services. Turn the parents in and the kids will be taken away to foster care.

  6. TALK TO THE PARENT ABOUT THEIR CHILDREN AND THE NOISE, AND IF IT DOESN'T STOP YOU WILL HAVE NO CHOICE TO MAKE A POLICE REPORT!

  7. If the children are being hit, you need to report it to a social worker and/or the police asap.  It's obvious from their behavior that their parents aren't taking care (or able to take care) of them the way they should.  A social worker would either take the children away to a safer and more disciplined environment, or would help the family go into counseling to deal with both abuse by the parents as well as behavior problems with the children.

Another way to keep the kids off your lawn is to build a fence all around it, or to just build a small fence or place dividers between your house and their on the property line, that way the kids can see where their house ends and yours begins, and then if you see them on your side even after this, you can tell them to get off the lawn. (I know someone who does the same thing and it works.)
