Question:

What can I do about cracked teeth?

So I've had this terrible habit of sleeping with my mouth open because of my slight overbite left over from the correction of my braces and sure enough, my front tooth is cracked. And I've dealt with little cracks in my teeth that soon get better, but this one seems deep and worries me.

I've read that teeth tend to crack when they get dry. It's completely true and it sucks balls.

And I've tried sleeping with my mouth closed, but I fail.

Is there anything I can do about it?

Also, I've read that your teeth will restore enamel as long as it's clean enough.

Will that take care of the cracks?

And I don't know if I can go to the dentist any time soon because I already went and my insurance is weird.

  1. If the crack is deep and goes down through the root of your tooth there's nothing you can do besides pull the tooth. If it doesn't go through the root you'll have to get a crown/cap on the tooth.

  2. go to low income health care center...it sure sucks, but you are getting raped off by your insurance without even knowing. DO NOT use crazy glue or plain glue....you'll get sick
