What can I do about ferret adoption vs. buying?

It's been made clear to me that I can adopt a ferret, which is fine.

The thing is, on pet finder, all the ferrets are not in my area and are not willing to ship and it's too far away for pick up.

Do I have any other options?

what area are you in. You can do a search on google or something. You might have to go threw different sites but you will find one.

Oh and dont forget

Craigslist.com....Its a great place to find unwanted ferrets that are not in a shelter but could either end up if not takin in or fall into the hands of the wrong people.
