What can I do about my Ludwigia Repen plant?

So I bought one yesterday and since then it's come loose and two of the three that were found in the little clay pot thing are floating around in my tank.

I don't think that's normal at all. I'm doing research right now but I thought I'd try here, too.

What do I need to do or is it too late?

And my water is 28C. The back of the plant thing says it has to be between 18-26C. Will the temperature kill it?

No. temperature ok. Older method to bottom plants was to tie a small loop of lead around the base of the plants.
