What can I do about my dogs toe nail that has broken and is now just hanging?

A vet is not available for a few days and it is almost all the way snapped off and bleeding.

well that's bad and probably painful for your dog, please take it to the vet

depends where its broken?  is it bleeding?  is it broken into the quick?  if not, then nip the broken piece off.  if yes, its a trip to the vet

i would take your dog to another vet, because dog's toenails have veins in them so im sure your dog is in ALOT of pain

Broken how???...if its like a hang nail, just clip it off or take it to the vet.

You should take him to the vet and have it removed.  He'll probably need to be on antibiotics for a few days to avoid infection.  The same thing happened to my dog.
