Question:

What can I do about my perm?

I got a perm exactly one month ago. It looked great when she finished, but it has gotten to be uneven and my hair has started to feel a little dry. The back and bottom is a very tight curl, but the top is pretty loose. Also my hair, with the curl, doesn't even reach my shoulders. Is there a product you recommend that would make it maintain the curl evenly or that will help to maintain it when I use my flat iron. I live in a very humid area and when I try to curl it with a curling iron or use a flat iron it looks fine when I leave the house but by the time I get anywhere it looks horrible. HELP!

  1. John Freida Frizz Ease is the best product.  I also like Pantene shampoo and conditioner for curly hair.

  2. my mom had the same problem.  to maintain the curl and make them defined and smooth, you should firstly wash your hair with a shampoo and condtitioner that is specifically designed for curly hair. if your on a budget then go for pantene curl defining shampoo and conditioner. if your willing to spend a little more money, then go for john freda shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair.  infusium also makes hair corrective treatments. then, to keep your curl, use tresemme curl definer. it makes your hair curly without making it skicky or crunchy like gel or moose. then, finish with pantene anti- humidity hair spray.

if you wanna make your hair straight, then before its dry put a smoothing serum on it. then after it dries, put heat protector serum or cream on it, so your hair doesnt fry. then flat iron it. then finish with the pantene anti- humidity hair spray. whatever you do, do not re- perm or chemically straighen your hair again until your hair has grown out and you have cut all the damaged ends off. hope this helped =-]
