I'm in a college with pre-med but no nursing program, and I can't transfer with my current grades anyway. My goal is to become a RN to help people, I'm just not sure how to start this process, if you could make it a little clear for me...

  1. You need to transfer to another college with a nursing program. Some classes are the same for the two professions but nursing classes get VERY specific in the sophomore year. Like nursing psychology for instance.

  2. Chebrew is correct.  If your college doesn't have a nursing program and your goal is to be a RN, you are going to have to transfer to a university with the nursing program.  Don't waste your time trying to take courses at your current college - look into transferring ASAP. Not sure why you can't transfer with your grades - you may lose some credits and not get into the nursing school right away, but at least you will be taking the right pre-reqs.
