What can I do about the flies and ants on my Patio Table?

I have tried swatting the flies with a fly swatter and getting the ants off my legs.

Wash it good with a light soap and bleach.........there's a reason they want to be there...........

About the flies, get some fly paper @ the 99 cents store, after you do a complete clean up as suggested.Hang it all around your patio area.

As for the ants, one solution is get some spearmint leaves, fresh or dried, and mix in blender with water. Strain, and place in a sprayer, and spray around the area twice a week, or until the ants stop appearing.Good luck!

if your patio is covered try filling a zip lock baggy "the sandwich size" about half full of water and hang in centers of walls. I don't know why but they don't like it.

For the ants mix boreck acid "boraxo" and sugar equal parts and place around patio and the ants will take it all to there nest and wipe out the hole colony  or just pore a line of laundry soap around your patio and the ants won't cross the line. I think it burns there little feet. it what I use when ever I travel down south to keep them out of my trailer I just in circle the tires and jack and never have a problem.
