What can I do about the mosquitoes?

I've been tormented these last few weeks by mosquitoes; and then this morning when I went to turn on the hose, I discovered that these LB's are apparently 'nesting(?)' in my boxwood bushes. There was, literally, hundreds of these things came out of the bush at me (!!!)... What can I do about this? I don't want anything that's like a horribly caustic chemical... but I will certain 'go there', if need be. Any help? Thanks!

I spray my boxwoods w/ insecticide that you hook onto your garden hose.  I only need to do it in the beginning of mosquito season and it lasts until it's too cold for the little buggers.

scrub all drains and surface sewers and lime-wash them with alkaline detergent compound at least once a week to remove any mosquito eggs. They should also keep the drains free from blockages and fill in all depressions to prevent breeding of mosquito.
