I've been tormented these last few weeks by mosquitoes; and then this morning when I went to turn on the hose, I discovered that these LB's are apparently 'nesting(?)' in my boxwood bushes. There was, literally, hundreds of these things came out of the bush at me (!!!)... What can I do about this? I don't want anything that's like a horribly caustic chemical... but I will certain 'go there', if need be. Any help? Thanks!

  1. I spray my boxwoods w/ insecticide that you hook onto your garden hose.  I only need to do it in the beginning of mosquito season and it lasts until it's too cold for the little buggers.

  2. scrub all drains and surface sewers and lime-wash them with alkaline detergent compound at least once a week to remove any mosquito eggs. They should also keep the drains free from blockages and fill in all depressions to prevent breeding of mosquito.
