What can I do as a parent at home this summer to help my son with auditory dyslexia?

He was just diagnosed with auditory dyslexia last week. He also has ADHD.

  1. Learn everything you can about auditory dyslexia - the more you understand about his difficulties, the better you will be able to help him overcome challenges. I've read before that phonics can help a person with auditory dyslexia. Talk with his doctor, teachers, etc. for more specific suggestions, since they know him personally and his unique strengths and weaknesses.
