I will be in Dublin on Saturday, mostly on my own. What should I see or do? I've been before and visited the Guinness Storehouse.

  2. I would take the hop on hop off tour provided around dublin.  If you are interested in GAA then maybe go to one of the matches on in Croke Park this weekend.

If you are in early to Dublin on Saturday, you could see if you can get one of the free tours of Arás an Uachtarán provided on Saturdays from the visitor centre in Phoenix Park.  That could be interesting.  Don't worry about it being booked up already as it is purely a who ever turns up goes thing.  No pre-booking allowed.

Have you seen the book of Kells yet in Trinity.  That might be of some interest to you. Are you interested at all in museums or galleries as they are often free and can be very interesting.

If you would like to shop, then try Henry street, then Grafton Street and what vabout hopping on the luas to Dundrum Shopping Centre - biggest in Ireland and Europe (I think).  It is only around 10-15 min on the luas.  Get off at Ballaly stop - not Dundrum.  Ballaly is closer to the shopping centre.

  6. If you go to the Guinness Storehouse do not carry the Guinness bag as it shows you are a tourist and increases the likelihood of being mugged.
