Last year in outdoor I didn't PR from my indoor season, and I don't want that to happen again. My best throw from this year Indoor is 39feet 1 1/4inch and my big goal is 40 feet. Can anybody give me any advice of what I can do at practice to fix my problem, I feel like I'm not throwing as far as I did in Indoor.

  1. Try using a golf ball!!!!   Hope this helps.

  2. ooooh. I love this sport. Hopefully its the same sport we're taking about.  Getting lower and bending your knees while having the arm in a 90 degrees and releaseeee.

  3. in reno,nv. the reno high school has three throwers over forty feet! i would contact them and see what the secret is!

  4. I coached shot put for several years. It has been a while ago and things may have changed. The basics  20 years ago were speed across the ring, 45  degree launch angle, wrist flip and lift with legs. contact a good coach and get on a weight program
