School starts pretty soon, and I have bad acne. I've been using ProActiv, but it doesn't work. I've also tried toothpaste and lemon.

Does anyone know what can help acne?

  1. I have this Neutrogena Rapid Clear Treatment Pads and they work fast and great! You use them like once or 3 times a day. It is fast you can do it while in school, well in the bathroom of course! Just make sure that your face doesn't have visible dirt on it just wet it a bit and then use the pad. It works great like in a week it worked.

  2. I would suggest going to a dermatologist.

they will prescribe you either a facial creme

or some kind of pill, which worked for me.

and will also evaluate your skin

and tell you what kind of products would work good on your dace.

i like the st. ives apricot scrub

    -good luck!

  3. hmm try clean and clear

    and clearasil might work too

  4. yes! i have the answer /

    Cetaphil .

it's a facial cleanser & it actually works really good ,

it cleans your face thoroughly & gets dirt out of your pores etc.

Also to clear your acne really good go to a dermatologist & get prescribed some medication for your acne. Everyone has different acne like cysts, & stuff. Dermatologists will prescribe the right stuff for your skin type. So yeah. I don't know if this is going to help you but I have hope because it works for  me!

  5. try murad from sephora. the starter kit is only $35. your skin will look better in a few days(3 or 4).

  6. Proactive may be too strong for your face...try using something more gentle like Neutrogena Glycerine bar for acne prone skin and follow with neutrogena stress acne toner/astringent... then if that doesnt do the trick, use Tea Tree Oil and dab it on the zits.  The doc told me to use this bc Tea Tree Oil kills the staph and bacteria on your skin which causes the acne!

    Good Luck

  7. omq i hate ProActiv that c**p just made my face worser lol i didn't see improvement at all!! lol but i use neutrogena it has helped my face alot more !!

so this is what i do and you should try!!

  8. use Acne Free it works great you can buy a kit with a lotion toner and face wash it doesn't dry out your skin...its actually kinda of like the improved proactive only you can't get it at any drug store you don't have to order it gets geart reviews so it probably works for many skin types

  9. wash you face every morning and night and use an OIL FREE moisturizer. withing a few week to a few months, depending on how bad your acne is, you will start seeing improvement with your acne..

just whatever you do, make sure all facial products you use are oil free.

and try to not use any powder, foundation, concealers, cover up or anything on your face.. it will just clog the poors, and wont aid in clearing up your skin.

  10. There is no quick fix for acne.  Your doctor may recommend some prescription medication.  Keep your face very clean.  Drink plenty of water.  Eat a nutritious diet and get enough sleep.  Try to reduce the stress in your life.  Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer.   Here are a few informative links with additional home treatment ideas.
