Question:

What can I do for boots that are a little too small?

I bought some gorgeous suede boots today, and they were the last pair. They're a size 9, and my foot luckily fit. I'm a size 10, and I tend to walk a lot too.

Is there a way to make them more comfortable? They're nice now, but a little squished.

  1. You can probably get them to fit if you use a product called "Shoe Stretch". It's available at Walmart, some drugstores, and shoe repair shops.

You spray it on the inside of the boots only, then stuff socks into the foot part of the boot until is is packed tight. Let them dry overnight and they will fit a lot better. You may have to repeat the process but since the boots are suede, you should be successful with stretching them.

    Good luck!! : )

  2. take them to your local cobbler, (person who makes shoes) He/she can stretch them for u

  3. puttin in those gel pads will make them smaller and hurt more. buying those shoes was probably a mistake and waste of money. i hate to break it to you but when you buy shoes that are too small no matter what you are going to get blisters.

  4. Try the gel pads for shoes.

  5. You might try a shoe strecther.  I don't know how easy or hard to find they are, but I know they exist!  :)  Or, you might try wearing them around the house for a day before you wear them out and about, giving the suede a chance to loosen up, maybe.  Otherwise you're left with some shoes that hurt your feet, but at least they'er gorgeous!

  6. then their probably a little too small, you could try putting those gel pad things for shoes in them
