Question:

What can I do for my anxiety later?

I have to go to the ER with my mom later tonight because something is wrong with her shoulder and she has a stiff neck or something and I have REALLY bad anxiety, like in a regular hospital room I get dizzy and then can't breathe and stuff and I think my mom just needs X-Rays done but I don't know how I will control my anxiety. Between worrying about my mom and being in a small room, I think I might have a hard time! But any advice to help? I don't really want to take medicine either so yeah. Thanks.

  1. Just take deep breaths, and focus on being there for your mum.

On the way in mentally note where the toilets are, incase you need to go out and have a breather.

Hopefully the X-ray won't take too long, so you'll be fine.

Don't worry! You'll get through it and be totally fine, and at the end you'll be proud of yourself.
