I don't want to see the United States become a poor, run-down, and crappy place. I'll be graduating college soon. What jobs can I get that will help make America great?

  1. How about becoming an engineer who works in the area of designing cities while at the same time being cognizent of the impact this type of infrastructure has on the enviornment.  This is a challenging but rewarding field. Good luck to you and congratulations on graduating.


  2. Get a job in hydrology. One of the biggest threats to the United States, during the rest of your expected lifetime, is that large areas of the United States, including some of the most densely populated parts of the country, are simply going to run out of fresh water.

    There are many reasons for this, but high on the list is the disappearance of mountain snowfields and glaciers which supply fresh melt-water during dry summer months.

  5. If not sarcasm then a job as a monetary instructor for Civic Currency at Elementary Schools or colleges. Provides a means to support people without jobs and a back up to Gov currency should it fail as well.

  6. live your life, be responsibile, volunteer, vote.....things will come up and you will see where you belong

If you aren't working toward it already, get a teaching degree, and go teach in the poor inner city school districts or in one of the poorer southern states.  The key to ending poverty is making sure that ALL kids get a decent education so they have the tools they need to work hard and pull themselves up in the world by the time they grow up.

  12. What is your field of study?  If you are going to be a biologist, you can help people overcome illness. If you are a liberal arts major you may find a spot in a social socially responsible field that will enable you to help others.

    You may not be able to save the world but save/help those you can and it will be the world to them.
