Let's see... I've wrapped an ice cube in a napkin and put it up to my eye twice since I woke up and I've put saline in it that is supposed to clear out bacteria and protein. Both worked wonderfully, but the pain is coming back. Yes, I have scheduled an appointment with my optician. I talked to my mom on the phone and she told me to continue what I was doing until about 4:00. I just wanted to confirm answers, though. Thanks a million!

  1. You quite possibly have conjunctivitis (an eye infection).  You do need some antibiotic drops for it.  Be careful because if it is a bacterial infection, it could spread to the other eye.

You should take you contacts out every night.  They need to soak in solution for 6 hours to become sterile.  If you're not responsible enough to wear them like you're supposed to then you shouldn't be allowed to use them.

If you still have them in, then please take them out as that will only irritate your eye even more.

  2. u have to get some eye drops for it. my eyes hurt yesterday but that was only for one day. dont worry just ask the eye doc
