My betta is starting to make bubbles. I've read that it means theyre ready to mate. Is that true? If so, what can I do for him? I dont really want to put a female in with him unless I can keep them together afterwards (And Im pretty sure I cant). Should I just leave him alone? will he be okay?

  1. It is normal that your male betta will make a bubble nest.It means that he is perfectly healthy and happy so concluding to he is ready to mate.He will be just fine by himself as long as he can't see the female as this will make him even more stimulated.

  2. male bettas make bubble nest to put their eggs in.

However, it is a sign of good health when you betta make bubble nests.

Females also do bubble nests, but smaller.
