What can I do for surfing in Canada?

Im from Canada and I want to surf. What should I do? I want to get a surf pool in my backyard but I can't seem to find anything out about that.

have you tried tofino on the west coast/vancouver island?  its a really nice beach (although a bit cold)

Wow, a surf pool in your backyard?  You must be loaded.  The Ron John's surf park is like 10 million to build.  Better off going to the coast.  Vancouver Island and Nova Scotia both get decent surf.

where a THICk *** wet suit if your going in the ocean. and if you want a wave pool thatg might be alittle expencive

Move south and take lessons. there is no such thing as a back yard wave pool. And wave pools aren't really surfing anyhow.
