  1. give her time

  2. when  she    cries   pick  her   up   and   tell  her  she   has   nothing to  worry  about   you   guys  are    going  to  have  alot  of    fun

  3. Could you go over when her mom is at home and play with her?  If you do this pretty often she'll be more comfortable with you and not just associate you with her parents leaving.  I'll bet her mom would love it if you offered to do  that.  I know you probably wouldn't get paid, but it would make your life so much easier when you babysit!

  4. Distract her as mom leaves. When mom is ready to go, pick the little one up and go into another room and keep her occupied for a few minutes. My mom did that with one of my sons and it worked like magic.

  5. Make sure your energy is comfortable, that means that you have to totally present yourself as a comforting person, inside and out.  Kids can pick up on vibes.

  6. give her a hug.

  7. A lot of babies and toddlers do this. You don't need to be worried. They are just really attached to there parents. She'll probably grow out of it like her brother did. Good Luck!
