What can I do for upper back pain associated with sports bra?

I have not exercised in a while and decided to the other day. I went on the elliptical for 20 minutes. The next day and 2nd day after that I have pain in my shoulder blade/upper back muscles. My chest is large (34dd) and I tried making my sports bra loose this AM but I am so sore. Does anyone know what exercises I can do to strengthen my upper back and shoulders to avoid this problem in the future. Or does anyone know a healthy sports bra for me to buy?

  1. it may be your bra, or simply the fact that if you haven't exercised in a while, your muscles are out of shape, and you just overdid it, and now you are suffering. but if you continue to have trouble, and you have back and shoulder pain even when you aren't exercising, you may be better off getting a breast reduction-that reduced the strain on your body caused by the big b*****s. it really works.
