I'll be moving next week to a building which is serviced by ATT DSL,

and ATT just told me they cannot give me service because they

are "overprovisioned". Comcast is currently wiring the building, but I cannot get an answer from them on when I could order from them.

What are my options?

  1. You could go with a wireless boradband provider until Comcast has finished wiring the building.

    Just one example:

  2. You could do a few things, if you have a laptop, make sure there are no accessible networks. The next thing is not exactly legal unless you know the person who your doing this to, but buy a wireless usb connector, and use it to build a yagi antenna and leech from someone elses network. You might want to contact the person who's network you are using first...

You could also put a high gain antenna on a wireless router and see what you can pick up that way...
