Question:

What can I do if a restaurant messed up my order?

Like, I went to Burgar king resturant and ordered the following:

3 Woppers

2 Jr.Wooper

2 Chicken fries

4 medium fries

3 pepsi

1 tea

But when I got my order and went to my car, I checked and saw that I'm missing 1 Whooper and 1 Jr.Whooper and somewhat got 4 small fires. I was very angry, but I felt like I can't do nothing since it's food even though it was on my reciect.

For future references, what can I do if this happened to me again?

Checking the order before you leave is a good suggestion.  If you don't find out until you get home give them a call and maybe you can go right back then or maybe another day.  Most fast food restaurants have a section on their website for feedback too.  Sometimes when you give feedback they reward you with coupons.   And sometimes on the receipt they have a survey  you can fill out online or via telephone.

  3. when they hand you the bag you look in it to see whats n first but if you already left without checking the bag then go back up thier and show them the reciet

  5. go back or call them and tell them what got messed up. It has happened to us before and they said that next time we came back to let them know and they gave us what we were missing the last time.

  7. When an order is messed up go right back in, if you notice in the car or call them right away if you didn't notice till you got home. I try to check while I am still there.



    They will normally fix your order on the spot or put it in a book for replacement. They may ask you to bring a receipt or the food back if they are replacing it.

  8. if u still have the reciept complain about it.  But for future references, just take it back and tell them about it.  they will then give you what was missing.

Just go inside and tell them what happened, Trust me i work in the food business, They will take your word for everytime, they'd rather do that than lose your future business.  Also, usually its a kid working, and they couldn't care less about what they give out, so theyll give it to you, no problem

  10. always check your food before driving away, so that they can see with their own eyes if a mistake has happened. then ask kindly that they fix your order.

  14. go inside and just show them your receipt and they will fix it. Its not a big deal. The only way its a big deal is if you get really angry towards htem.

  16. Simply go back and ask for what you're missing. You're likely to have your order messed up when you ask for that many things, so always check the bag.

    It was probably an honest mistake. Don't be a moron and threaten to sue or start yelling and they'd probably be happy to correct the order.

  17. I would go in (or back if you had already left).  This is not uncommon.  Carry the bag in with your receipt and speak to the person on the counter.  98% of the time there will be no questions.  

    I hate when I don't find out til I get home.  I have to weigh the cost of the food vs. the gas vs. do I have enough to feed everyone.
