  1. I would suggest start finding a toilet company to help you fix it. The problem with Insurance companies is that they will never pay what they agree to.

  2. It is not unusual for an insurance company to deny a valid claim.   There have been cases,  where insurance companies as a matter of policy deny all claims the first time it is requested.  Fortunately this is not the usual practice for most companies.

You need to FIGHT with them.  If your claim is valid.  You need to make them explain why it was denied.  Do not accept their denial appeal it.

  3. Insurance will not pay for the cost of repairs to a leaking toilet unless it was the result of a "catastophic event" they will only pay for the damage caused by such an event. Gradual deterioration is not covered by any insurance policy that I know of.

If the tiles need to be lifted to repair the toilet this is a result of gradual deterioration.

If the toilet blew a pipe off and it flooded the floor and the floor had to be replaced insurance would cover the ensuing damage as this would be such an event.
