  1. The solution I use is the Panasonic DECT 6.0 cordless phone model KX-TG9333.

This phone can be programmed to Call Block specific phone numbers that you don't want to be bothered by. Block up to 20 separate numbers.

It also has a Night Mode that prevents the phone from ringing during late night hours. Just program in the times you don't want to be disturbed while sleeping.

I think it is great that phone manufacturers are building these features into phones. Now we don't have to pay the phone company more money just to block annoying phone callers.

  2. Can you not tell the police and get there number blocked?

  3. you need to call you phone company and have them add selective call rejection. They will give you a code to dial to access this feature. The most common code is *60. You will then be walked though entering in the # that you want to block. Some phone companies will actually block individual #'s for you........

Something that you need to check out with them.

  4. You can block their calls. It is a subscription phone service I believe. Talk to your phone company about call blocking. If it is telemarketers that you are bothered by then you can register your phone number on the do not call list. I believe that web address is www.donotcall.gov

  5. It depends who the people you are talking about are. If they're companies, you can obviously complain directly to them, or easier still, contact your phone provider and ask to go on their cold call prevention register, this is usually free, but could take a couple of weeks to process. You can also put a bar on these particular numbers if you have access to them.

Going ex-directory is another option, or changing your number altogether.

I hope this helps a little, this problem can at best be an annoyance and at worst quite distressing and I hope it gets resolved soon.

  6. You can report these callers publicly along with their telephone number at http://www.everycall.us

    Thanks.

  7. Well you could always report them i mean i did that and i stopped getting annoying calls.
