  4. Seoul's a big city with many things to do.  The country has a rich history and culture and has a lot to offer.

My advice is to get a good travel book from Barnes & Noble or Amazon.com and decide what YOU want to see and do.

It's possible to go just about anywhere in Seoul by subway or foot.  You won't need to rent a car and stay away from the taxis.  They tend to overcharge Americans.

  5. Visit Lotte world!!!

  6. Top 10 Tourist Attractions in Seoul

    2. Itaewon

Itaewon is located in the center of Seoul and it's home to Korea's international community.

English is widely spoken in almost every store and restaurant.

Itaewon is always full of non-Korean residents from Western people to Africans and Arabs.

You can appreciate all kinds of ethnic foods in Itaewon such as Indian, Thai, Mexican, American, French, Turkish and etc.

Itaewon is very popular for shopping and dining and it's a very foreigner-friendly & g*y-friendly place.

    3. Insadong

Insadong is located close to the palaces I've mentioned above and it's home to Korea's traditional arts and culture.

    10. Lotte World

This is one of the Asia's most fascinating amusement parks and I really liked this place when I was young.

Of course, there are some museums and parks for tourists but I can't mention them all.

The National Folk vilage, the Grand Park, Everland(amusement park) and the Fortress are also popular tourist spots but they are located in the suburb of Seoul. (about an hour-away from the center of Seoul.)

  7. Well, you can firstly visit 시청 (City Hall) area and see Duk Su Goung (덕수궁, the place where the emperors of Korea lived) and the newly-opened Chun Ga Chun (청계천, a long river in the middle of the suburbs, amazingly!).

If you are willing to take some time traveling, you can visit the Lotte World of Jamsil(잠실). It's the biggest indoor amusement park in the world, and has rides ranging from Carousel to a speedy Roller Coaster (called French Revolution) and other scary~ rides. You can use a bus or a subway to get there. Or you can even go further to Yongin (용인) Everland. It ranks in Top 10 Amusement Parks in the World (I think 6th or 7th). It's also very fun there, much more rides than Lotte World.

Or for a nice panorama view, visit the Jeju Island. Lots to sightsee there.

    Hope I helped.
