I am more interested in historical buildings / architechture / walking around / good sights - and not much in museums. I will be there from 8-9 AM till 10 PM (I will be there on my way back from Barcelona to London). I will be with my wife and my 18 month old son. Any suggestions are welcome. Cheers

  1. For a start you can stroll your son in his pram up the Giralda tower and get a great view of the city.  It is a ramp all the way up.  Then walk around the Barrio Santa Cruz which is very close.  Lots of little places to eat--charming.  Then the royal gardens and maybe the palace.  There is a bull ring, which might interest you to see.  Lots of interesting churches.  A great city for walking--we did a two week language school there and loved it.

  2. See all sorts of historical things and eat Tapas!!!!

  3. Places to visit in Seville.

Site of Expo 1992, remembrance throughout the city.

    Shopping, Shopping, and more shopping.

  5. The city of Seville may be the fourth largest in Spain, but it is a place where you can see open countryside from the city centre, and even pick the legendary Seville oranges from trees for more details see http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/places/seville...

  6. Seville is very beautiful. Congrats on deciding to stop there! You need to go see the cathedral and the area surrounding it. It is all very beautiful. It is right by the university. You will also be very near the river and you can see a lot of great spanish architecture there. Also, You need to see the Plaza of the Americas. It's really beautiful too, and is very near the main bus station(across the street, basically. You can also see the Macarena (the statue of the virgin Mary from the famous song) nearby. Good luck!

  7. first thing that i do is go to the tourist office, get a map of the area
